BICT operates and manages the container, ferry, and general cargo terminals at the Batumi Sea Port. The Batumi Port is one of the key transportation trade points in the Black Sea Basin.

 

Ferry

Ferry and General cargo terminal located at Berth 6, length - 183 meters, depth – 8 meters, number of berthing positions – 2.

 

Stripping

Containers stripping is rendered on an especially dedicated stripping area with trained and specialized stripping staff.

 

Reloading

Discharging and loading of containers and general/project cargo vessels at berth 4/5, length -284 meters. Handling of containers and cargo to and from multimodal units of transport (trucks and rail wagons).

 

CCTV

24/7 CCTV coverage of full terminal territory and facilities. The security guards regularly patrol the whole territory of BICT.

 

Cargo Handling

Fast and Efficient container handling service by using modern container handling equipment and operating systems. Stevedoring, handling, storage, and delivery or receipt of containers and cargo in one location.

 

Warehouse

Container yard: 6.5 hectares at present, Terminal area 13.6 hectares. The customs closed the warehouse with a 625 sq. meter area. CFS - 3000 sq. meter and 180 meters of rail spur for cross stuffing from/to railcars from/to containers. 

 

Customs Clearance Facility (GEZI)

A Customs Clearance Zone on the basis of a single window principal (GEZI) located on the terminal territory and ensures quick release of the cargo.
