BICT takes part in the seminar organized within the framework of World Bank’s technical assistance project

On March 31, within the framework of World Bank’s technical assistance and through the cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, a seminar on “Freight Transport and Logistics Services Development in Georgia” was help at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Mikeladze, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance of Georgia David Lezhava and the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali.

 

The project aims at developing freight transport and logistics sector, designing investment program for the development of multimodal freight corridors and green logistics, as well as scopes for gaining qualification for the representatives of public and private sector. The issues regarding the achievements, future plans and challenges implemented within the framework of the project, were discussed at the seminar.
