ARKAS Line starts calling Batumi

MV ESRA A of ARKAS Line, made its first call at the Batumi International Container Terminal (BICT) last 5th February 2012.  The ESRA A, which was built in 1985, has a total cargo intake of 700 TEUs.  For its maiden call, the ESRA A handled a total of 222 TEUs for BICT.  BICT’s Management Team - Mr. Aurelio Garcia (Deputy to CEO/GM), Keti Oragvelidze (Marketing Manager), and Giorgi Tsuladze (Operations Manager), went on board the MV ESRA A to welcome Capt. Murat Yucel with his crew and presented them with a portrait reproduction of a 1920 photo of Batumi Harbour.
